Software Engineer in Test - Intern

Job Summary

Join our exceptional software test automation team to design and implement cutting edge tools to test algorithms and semantics, deployed on embedded systems. You will develop testing infrastructure and tooling to detect software defects in Simulink. 
Automatically generated code from Simulink can be found in advanced robotic systems, automotives and aircrafts, critical medical equipment etc., An ideal candidate for this position must have a math background and passion for solving challenging numerical software problems and should enjoy coding. 
Present new ideas, develop ingenious and innovative solutions to solve complex problems. 


As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about numerous features in Simulink. You will work closely with a dynamic cross-functional team and are expected to participate in our software development processes. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Participating in design discussions and test planning
  • Authoring tools, harnesses and writing automated test suites
  • Creating and executing the scripted tests on multiple platforms
  • Diagnosing and reporting bugs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
  • Programming experience with MATLAB
  • Knowledge of C++

  • Good problem-solving and programming skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Exposure to numerical algorithms
  • Object-oriented programming experience
