Simulink Web-Development Intern, Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Simulink Integration Platform team brings together world-class experts to ship high-quality features that excite our customers and advance MathWorks’ mission of accelerating the pace of science and engineering. 

Join our fun, fast-paced team to design and build automated testing solutions that are robust and scalable. We’re looking for a candidate with a strong JavaScript background, who is passionate about software quality, and has hands-on experience writing clean, well-architected code.


You will have the opportunity to learn about MathWorks products and software development processes.  Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to define testing solutions for features
  • Design, author, and maintain test automation solutions that are robust and scalable
  • Be the advocate for testability, drive best engineering practices and defect prevention
  • Diagnose and report bugs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong demonstrable skills in framework design, architecture and API design.
  • Experience with MATLAB is a plus
