Software Engineer in Test Intern - Web Infrastructure

Job Summary

Bring your passion to work with the latest tools as well as frameworks and join our software test engineering team to help qualify MathWorks Web and Cloud applications. You will be working to develop testing infrastructure and automated tests to detect software defects.  As an intern, you will be a part of our collaborative culture and engage with several cross-functional team members. Present new ideas, develop inventive and innovative solutions to solve complex problems.


You will have the opportunity to learn about MathWorks products and software development processes. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Participating in design discussions and test planning.
  • Authoring tools, harnesses and writing automated functional and performance test suites
  • Diagnosing and reporting bugs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience with JavaScript

Additional Qualifications

  • Good problem-solving and programming skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Programming experience in MATLAB, C++, or JAVA.
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Independent and self-motivated
