Deep Learning Audio/Speech Summer Intern

Job Summary

Work alongside a team of audio developers to learn more about MATLAB programming, deep learning and machine learning, signal processing for audio and speech, and more. Use your MATLAB and DSP skills to contribute to Audio toolbox’s deep learning capabilities.

As an intern, you will receive a combination of practical experience and training in a work environment that fosters and rewards cooperation, teamwork, learning, and fun.

This internship will prepare you for a career at MathWorks starting in our Engineering Development Group (EDG).

Responsibilities

Develop new features and/or examples in the domain of machine and deep learning for audio and speech processing. Write unit tests to ensure your work adheres to out high quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB
  • Knowledge of signal processing

Additional Qualifications

  • Knowledge in TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch is a plus.
  • Some knowledge in machine learning concepts and deep learning architectures is a plus.
