Developing optimization tools and functions for optimizing designs, estimating model parameters, and performing sensitivity analysis. Use MATLAB to develop and implement new functions and graphical user interfaces to help our customers solve multi-disciplinary design optimization problems in different application domains ranging from automotive, industrial automation, electrification, aerospace and defense, utilities and energy, and many more. Contribute to all aspects of the product development process from writing functional specifications to designing software architecture and implementing software features. Work with quality engineering, documentation, and usability teams to develop state-of-the-art software tools. help develop software tools for our Simulink Design Optimization toolbox. Telecommuting up to 40%.

Cualificaciones

Minimum Qualifications:

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or computer science, and no experience.

Position requires demonstrable experience with the following:

  1. Numerical optimization algorithms and techniques
  2. MATLAB
  3. Simulink
  4. Systems engineering

Experience may be gained during graduate program. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
