Responsabilidades
- Financial reporting and analysis: Collaborate with the Global Finance Team to prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial results. This includes preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, analyzing monthly results, overseeing unusual transactions, and providing reports and financial models to help senior management understand key business drivers.
- Presentation and data-driven storytelling: Utilize financial and non-financial data to create analyses and develop presentations that provide insights and identify recommendations for stakeholders.
- Planning and forecasting: Work with staff and management across the organization to create the annual expense plan and quarterly forecast updates that provide visibility into changes in business operations or financial results.
- Process Improvement: Partner with the Global Finance Team to standardize and streamline recurring processes and data collection activities, establishing best practices to improve efficiency, and optimize technology use.
- Audit coordination: Coordinate the annual audit by managing timelines and deliverables in collaboration with external auditors and MathWorks staff. Identify and implement opportunities to create efficiencies through technology and process improvements.
- Operational Support: Support the finance team with the review of complex customer pricing arrangements and distributor sales activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Cualificaciones mínimas
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
- Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.

- Previous work experience in a multi-national software or cloud-based company preferred
- Active CPA or CA license preferred
