Linear transformations are operations that matrices perform on vectors.
The Jordan canonical form of a square matrix is a block matrix in which each block is a Jordan block.
When computing eigenvalues and eigenvectors of some matrices symbolically, you can get a long result in a form that is not suitable for further computations.
