When purchasing MATLAB Home, remember to use it for personal use only. MATLAB Home Use is not intended for Government, Academic, Commercial or other organizational use.
For licensing information regarding MATLAB Home, see the Student License and Home License Installation and Use Addendum of MathWorks license agreement. This agreement can be accessed from the license.txt or license_agreement.txt file in the root MATLAB directory. The default location for the MATLAB root directory is listed below:
WIndows: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\<release>
MacOS: /Applications/MATLAB_<release>.app (Mac, right click and "show package contents" to open)
Linux: /usr/local/matlab/<release> (Linux)
If MATLAB is not at this location then enter this command into MATLAB:
matlabroot
MATLAB will then display the root directory.
