Matlab trial installation can't connect

I am trying to install the Matlab 2017a trial. When I click log in with mathworks it asks for my username and password however when I enter them it says that it cant connect to mathworks. I have checked to make sure that my firewall is not blocking it. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a solution.

I have attached a print screen of the error. I have seen that page it the reason I checked my firewall and anything else that could block it.

I have a customer who is getting the same error. I'm reading through Jan's link and will confirm if I can get MatLab 2017 to activate properly.
