imfindcircles: How to store the center coordinate of the circles when using the function in a for loop?

The center is saved as a double (3X2)

How can I save the coordinates at the end of each loop without overwriting it?

I am assuming that you have multiple images and you repeatedly find the centers of circles in an image and loop through all the files in the folder or something like that.

If so, you can just create an empty cell of the length of files you have and copy centers of each file into a cell.

% Ex:
cell2StoreCenters = cell(1,length(files)); % empty cell
for i = 1:length(files)
    [centers, radii, metric] = imfindcircles(edgeICoinImage2,[50 150],'ObjectPolarity','dark','Sensitivity',0.90);
    cell2StoreCenters{i} = centers;
end

Hello, Thanks for the help. This does successefully create a cell to store data but it seems to store the centre coordinates of the last image multiple times rather than storing each round of data.

This creates a 1X5 array but only stores the last set of data in the last cell. All other cells are empty

You put this line inside your for-loop: cell2StoreCenters = cell(1,5);

That clears your variable each loop. Place that line of code outside your for-loop and it should work.
