I need a matlab code for segmentation of UCF Sports database images in binary images such as body in white and background in black

I am working on binary segmentation of images and I need a matlab code for segmentation of UCF Sports database images such as body in white and background in black, i tried with several algorithms however i did not get the expected result, ....can anyone give me the code?

It would be you who would give us the code. We do not have your code, and no one here has such specialized code. However even if you gave us your code, if you say it doesn't work well, I'm not sure we want to spend our time trying to improve an algorithm that is lousy and inappropriate in the first place. If you say it doesn't work, then I believe you - just pick another algorithm and move on. Or invent one yourself. But we don't have one to give you. You can check VisionBib.com for other algorithms. However if you have an error message, rather than it's just not doing the segmentation very well, then that's something that we may be able to help with, IF you supply the code and all the red text of the error message.

Can you assume that anything touching the border is background?

Is it a frame from a video? If so, you can identify moving/non-background things by looking at a frame without a person in it.

do you mean video saliency, where i detects the moving object in a video sequence that does not give me binary frames, it gives frames such that the object is in shade of gray.

No. I mean do you have a video, meaning a file that has an extension of something like .avi, .wmv, .mp4, etc.

If you do, then the platform the diver is standing on can be subtracted away since it will not change from frame to frame, unless the camera moves.
