Hi,
As a student I have to work on a project wich deals with permanent magnet synchronous generator, I tried to use the permanent magnet synchronous machine and put a negative torque as an input in order to use the block as a generator but when i have to chose what kind of load I need to use I am a bit lost. Because I thought the load will be considered as a block with only parameters like R, L and C but I am asked to enter the Nominal phase-to-phase voltage Vn (Vrms), Active power P (W), Inductive reactive Power QL (positive var) and the Capacitive reactive power Qc (negative var). This is the first step and it is only to understand how simulink works so it may be a bit imprecise on the modelisation of the system.
My first question is am I using the good component for my modelisation ? If yes how to calculate the parameters ? And if no how can I do it? Since I am new on matlab feel free to explain even what seems a basic to you .
Thanks a lot,
Edouard,
