Image Analysis_Extracting selected Black Fringe profile in zebra-like pattern

Hi I am seeking help with image Processing using Matlab. I got an image with zebra-like Pattern (black and white regions). I want to develop a Matlab code that allows to me select the black fringes that I want to trace using ginput or anyother similar command and then finally provides me x and y coordinate data of the each selected fringe to plot in excel or any other software.
