I would like to implement simple circuits that I am studying during the electrical engineering (mechanical engineering) course. Can anyone tell me how the following circuit should be drawn in simulink? (R2020a)
This is true in general, but I don't find such simple circuits. In theory, connecting the dipoles would not be difficult, but, as in the attached example, I cannot connect a voltage meter.
The connectors have square or circular terminals, what is the difference?
The blocks to be used are from the same type. In the above figure, one element is of type General Electric Sources and the other elements are of type Specicalized Power Systems. This difference in type led to the issue in the connection.
The Simscape signals are not the physical signals and to convert them to Simulink Signals, use the PS Simulink converter. To convert Simulink to physical signals, use Simulink PS converter.
For measurement, as in the above diagrams, use the sensor blocks present here.
Attached here a sample circuit with the voltage measurement. For a similar examples, look over these.
The error you get is due to the solver configuration not provided. In the sample example, I have connected a solver f(x) = 0. That will solve the conditions and provide the output. Please add a solver to the circuit and the simulation would work.
