Programmatic Searching with PubChem - Vancomycin Example

PubChem reproducible searching: collect literature references associated with Vancomycin synthesis in PubChem patent and PubMed literature.

This live script uses the PubChem SDQ query language (experimental, not fully supported yet) to retrieve literature associated with the synthesis of Vancomycin. I first search PubChem patent collection for patents containing "vancomycin" and "preparation" in the title. And in the second search, I query the PubChem PubMed collection with the mesh heading "vancomycin" and mesh subheading "chemical synthesis".
