Deletes data points based on a specified condition.

Syntax

[x_new,y_new] = delete_data_points(x,y,condition)

Description

[x_new,y_new] = delete_data_points(x,y,condition) creates a new data set (x_new,y_new) by deleting data points from the original data set (x,y). condition should be input as a logical expression in terms of x and y (this will generate the logical array needed by the function) that specifies which data points should be deleted. Element-wise multiplication, division, and power should be used when defining condition (i.e. use x.*y instead of x*y, x./y instead of x/y, and x.^y instead of x^y). For example, to delete all data points where , we would input x.*y<0 for condition.
