Have you considered taking your training virtually? In this video, you will see how MathWorks creates an effective learning environment virtually using a set of world class tools. But first, what should you expect with any instructor-led training from MathWorks? Knowledgeable instructors who engage the class in discussion, the ability to ask questions and get help when you're stuck, hands-on practice with the latest software, and course material to go along with the lesson. Our instructor-led virtual training platform has been built to closely mirror the classroom training experience.
To attend our virtual training classes, you will need a computer with two displays, a headset with microphone, and access to high-speed internet. The Webex training session is where most class interaction takes place. Expect for the Webex application to occupy one of your monitors. For those with download restrictions, Webex provides an option to join the session by browser. Join the audio conference using your phone or your computer. The Call Me feature makes it easy.
There are other ways to interact with the instructor besides talking. You can send a message in the chat panel, raise your hand if you have a question, or send generic feedback, like Yes, No, or Slow Down. In addition, the instructor can send a set of questions for the class to answer.
Since most of your time will be spent working in MATLAB and Simulink, you will have access to your own virtual machine with the software already installed. ReadyTech Axis manages the virtual computer lab in the cloud while the machines are running on Azure. The virtual lab provides an important function. If you need more one-on-one guidance, the instructor can view your MATLAB screen and, if necessary, take control. Lastly, you will access your course manual using Mimeo Digital. The digital materials can be viewed on any device, using a web browser or the Mimeo Digital app.
With Instructor-Led Virtual training from MathWorks, you have access to the same resources as in the classroom. And to prepare you for class, we help test your access ahead of time, to ensure you have a seamless experience on class day. Visit our training website to see a list of all available virtual courses.
