About the Presenters
Dr. Francesca Marini and Dr. Philip Laserstein are part of the Academic Customer Success team at MathWorks, which helps academics integrate MATLAB and Simulink in their teaching and research.
Francesca holds a PhD in bioengineering and robotics from the University of Genova and the Italian Institute of technology where she focused on using robotic devices to promote motor recovery after brain injuries.
Prior to his role at MathWorks, Philip was working as a Neuroscience PhD student at the Max-Planck Institute for Brain Research in Frankfurt where he was exploring the biological structures of neuronal networks in mammalian brains.
