Cpp.Attribute Class
Namespace: Cpp
Superclasses: AstNodeProperties
Represents the attribute nodes in the syntax tree of your code
Since R2026a
Description
Attribute class represents the C++ syntax node attribute in your code and contains predicates to query properties and children of this node.
Predicates
| Type | Raisable | Printable |
|---|---|---|
Attribute
| Yes | No |
This class defines these predicates that act on the objects of this class. In addition, objects of this class can access the predicates defined by the base class AstNodeProperties. An object of this class is an object of AstNodeProperties class.
| Predicates | Description |
|---|---|
is(required Attribute &attribute) |
Finds syntax nodes of the type Attribute in your C++ code and returns them as
attribute. For example, in [[nodiscard]], this predicate matches
the nodiscard attribute node.
|
isa(Cpp.Node.Node node) |
Checks if node is an Attribute. Use this relation if you want to
negate the condition (for example: not Cpp.Attribute.isa(n)).
|
cast(Cpp.Node.Node node, required Attribute &cast) |
Finds syntax nodes of the type Attribute from the nodes in node.
Retrieval occurs if node is compatible with the Attribute type.
Use this relation if you need further Attribute properties.
|
name(Attribute self, Cpp.Node.Node &child) |
Matches the attribute name. For example, in [[nodiscard]], this predicate matches
nodiscard.
|
prefix(Attribute self, Cpp.Node.Node &child) |
Matches the attribute prefix, when present. For example, in [[gnu::always_inline]],
this predicate matches gnu.
|
argumentList(Attribute self, Cpp.Node.Node &child) |
Matches the argument list of the attribute, when present. For example, in
[[deprecated("use bar instead")]], this predicate matches
("use bar instead").
|
isEnclosedInAttribute(Cpp.Node.Node child) |
Checks if child appears inside an Attribute.
|
getEnclosingAttribute(Cpp.Node.Node child, required Attribute &parent) |
Finds the nearest enclosing Attribute ancestor of child
and returns it as parent.
