Description

Select this option if you have your own custom linker file, which you can specify in the Linker file parameter. If you do not select this option, based on the device you have selected, a default custom linker file is used.

For Infineon AURIX TC4x microcontrollers, if you set the Processing Unit parameter to PPU, then Use custom linker file parameter appears in the Device tab.
