Description
Select Set logging buffer size automatically to automatically calculate and preallocate the logging buffer size on Raspberry Pi® based on the signal configuration of the model.
When enabled, the buffer size is determined automatically so that logged signals can be stored without overflow during external mode communication. When disabled, you can manually specify the buffer size using the Logging buffer size (in bytes) parameter.
Dependencies
To enable this parameter, set Communication interface to
XCP on TCP/IP or XCP on CAN.
The default value of this parameter depends on the selected communication interface:
On when set to XCP on CAN, and
Off when set to XCP on TCP/IP.
Settings
On (default) | OffSelect whether to automatically calculate the logging buffer size.
On(default for XCP on CAN)Automatically calculate and preallocate the logging buffer size based on the signal configuration of the model. The Logging buffer size (in bytes) parameter is disabled.
Off(default for XCP on TCP/IP)Manually specify the logging buffer size using the Logging buffer size (in bytes) parameter.
