Is there a model for engine starter motor?

The reason for this question, is that I am trying to develop a simulation model for starting the engine without driving the vehicle. This would probably apply for HEVs. Any assistance?

It depends what level of fidelity you are looking to simulate. Powertrain Blockset has a Starter block that you can start with. If you prefer more electrical simulation, you can check out Simscape Electrical, Energy Balance in a 48V Starter Generator example can be a good starting point. I hope this helps.
