I am running Matlab 2015b with -nodesktop. I just upgraded to OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite and now my keyboard keypad does not work for Matlab (e.g., the "1" key returns "Oq" and the "2" key returns "Or"). Note that this only happens for the keypad and not the numbers on the keyboard. I originally thought this was just a Yosemite problem. But, the keypad does work properly in general (e.g., just typing numbers in a terminal). I would also note that the same problem exists for older versions--I tried a Matlab 2014a with the same result. Any known solutions to this? Thanks!

Hi,
Did the keypad work as expected before updating the Operating System to Yosemite?
Have you tried running MATLAB with the desktop? Does the keypad work as expected then?
