Calculation of traffic flow

I have the values of speed and density in matlab. Can i use the relationship of traffic flow with speed and density for the calculation of traffic flow?

that is, traffic flow = speed X density?

Actually I am calculating the road traffic flow for one video, where i ahev converted that video in different frames.

In matlab , I have calculated the value of average speed that comes 15.090170436838887 and density that comes around 0.558053466784959 . So my question is can I calculate the traffic flow directly by using relation,

traffic flow = average speed X density?
