How can i select cell from table in app designer?

I read the location information history and earthquake magnitude of earthquakes from an excel file. You can see it in the photo I added. I want to take any one line from this map with a lot of data and show the latitude longitude here on the map. How can I do that?

The UITable has a callback for selection

The event callback contains the indices of the selected cell, so you could use the row index to extract the relevant data from the actual data table (which you will have to make available within the app, as by creating a property to hold it).

You probably want to load the data from excel once with app start up, instead of on a button push...?

To add a startup function, in the "Component Browser" right click on the parent UIFigure of the app. The context menu that pops up will have an item "Callbacks", which will have an item "Add startupfcn callback". You can add code in there that executes after the app has loaded.

It looks like you are finding the selected cell index correctly. But it also looks like you are trying to save a running list of selected cells as you keep selecting them. Since the callback function doesn't share its workspace with your app, your app will not "know" about the variables "latitude" and "longitude".

It also looks like you don't know how to index arrays...your line

if i == row

makes no sense...what is i?

If you need to save them to the app's space, you can define app properties, e.g.

and

then you can access any public properties you defined:
