It takes a 8 khz sampling in real-time, and performs a FFT at 100 hz with a sliding hamming window to give clean results. All of this is in a GUI which allows you to see the spectrometer and energymeter. Some of the background audio processing code is from http://www.speech-recognition.de by Bernd Plannerer. Enjoy!
