This is a conceptual model representing electrolysis, the conversion of electrical energy (wind & solar) and water into hydrogen gas. In this update (4.0.3), a video illustrating the operation of an alkaline electrolyzer is showcased. Related models soon to be available.
The electrolyser consists of a water tank that can be refilled continuously upon need (conductivity increase in the solution may be accounted for). The temperature of the water is regulated by diverted current through a thermal resistor. Hydrogen generated is extracted into a storage tank modelled as a gas chamber with a constant storage temperature..
