Pinch

Pinch analysis with GUI for heat exchanger network design given a single approach temperature criteria. Accomidates phase change streams.

To run
1) download the files to your Matlab working directory.
2) type "pinch" into the command line.
3) the GUI should automatically start.

Units should be consistent across all entered streams.

For example, if using SI units:
"Tlow:" temperatures in Kelvins
"Thigh:" temperatures in Kelvins
"flow:" mass flowrate in kg/sec
"heat of change:"
J/(kg*Kelvin) for sensible heat(ing)
J/(kg) for phase change streams
