By this small MATLAB script it is possible to interactively acquire the quantitative morphology for a bidimensional photograph of cultured neurons.
The output, a smaller subset of the *.ASC NeuroLucida ascii format, is compatible with the NEURON simulating environment tool "Import 3D".
