B&R Ensures Efficient Development of Real-Time Code for Target Systems

To be competitive in the field of industrial automation, it’s imperative to operate machines close to their physical limits. In order to do this, the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of the machine must be developed with the control software to ensure that they are deployed efficiently and sustainably.

Efficient development in such an environment is only possible if the development tools seamlessly mesh and are coordinated.

Automation Studio is the design environment for hardware and software for all B&R target systems (PLCs, industrial PCs, embedded PLCs). B&R is developing an interface between Automation Studio and MATLAB® and Simulink® to enable the efficient development and deployment of real-time code for all B&R target systems.
