How do I start working on whatever choice the user selects. If-statement? or other referencing?

MATLAB!!!

I suppose I would use an if-statement? But MATLAB is urging me to use strcmp, though all I want to do is start writing a code with respect to a choice that the user selects given the options provided in the menu dialogue box below. How would I begin??

choice = menu('Please choose a topic' ,'Physics Calculator ', 'Motor Analysis Calculator ', 'Material Analysis Calculator ', 'Unit Conversions');
