how to download a file using matlab ?

I have to download a file present in file exchange. how to download it thro matlab using the command urlread

“urlread” function returns the contents of a URL in the form of a string : >> filex = 'http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/'; >> fullList = urlread(filex);

You can also provide other options with “urlread” such as if you want to retrieve files from file exchange with in past 7 days that contains the word MATLAB as shown below:

>> filex = sprintf('%s%s',... 'http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/',... '?duration=7&term=MATLAB'); >> recent = urlread(filex);
