Scorbot port setup error

I received this code that Im supposed to make work. This script and function are supposed to initialize serial communication with a Scorbot robot. They create and configure a serial port type Matlab object, associated with the port that Windows assigned to the robot controller. This is done using the Matlab serial function. It also cancels the echo of messages sent to the driver and instructs the robot to run a test program, to verify that the communication is successful.

Everything seems to be in order, and I even got the program runnning once, but now when I try to run it I get these errors:

Can somebody identify the reason why Im getting these error messages?
