Question about optimizing regression

So my issue deals with linear regression. I am responsible for finding the linear region of a force-displacement curve, and subsequently finding the best fit line that uses at least 10 consecutive data points in the said linear region (best R^2 with maximum slope value).

Does anyone know how to do this using MATLAB?
