I want to generate a C function with arguments in and a return value back.

I can generate code but it is not in the format of a function. I have simulink model that works and embedded coder builds the code, but it is not in the C function format that could be easily added to my code set.

Are you generating code for the entire model or for a single subsystem?
Can you elaborate on the API that you are expecting and the declaration of the function that gets generated?
I have broken my model up into functions (reference models) that connect together to build the system. I then want to build a C function from each of these individual reference models. We would then pass these functions to the software team to test in the production code.
I would like to pass in an array of data (43 X 16 bit unsigned integers) and have a 16 bit unsigned integer returned
