splitting a graph into a new one

Hello,
I have some data from my measurements and I have created three vectors 1x45000. My Three vectors are x,F and t. x is my displacement vector, F my force and t my time.
I want to do a subplot which I can do. I want the first subplot to be x vs t, the second subplot F vs t.
Then I would like to have some tools in my first subplot. I want to have some markers that I could adjust in the plot. I want to plot a third subplot with the data between these markers, but only F vs x.
How is this possible. I have no clue...
Thank you.

subplot(1,3,1);
plot(t, x, 'b-');
subplot(1,3,2);
plot(t, F, 'b-');

All this does is make the graph blue? How is it possible to get markers on the first plot which I can adjust so the data for F and X within this interval is plotted in my third plot?

When you say markers... are you referring to actual 'markers' as in, a circle or square or something that helps visualize a specific point?
I don't think you are using the right terms.
You probably want some kind of line or slider you can drag around to resize the third plot window, via another plot. I don't know. Its confusing.

Okey. Yes I mean sliders of some kind. Markers is the wrong term. I want a slider or if there is another comfartable interactive solution in my firat plot that is F vs t.
I have sampled F,x and t. I am plotting F and x vs t. I want a slider in my plot F vs t so I can set two end points that will have two values of my t-vector. Then i would automatically like to have a plot With F vs x for this interval of the two end points that i have choosen. And i want to do this interactive in my first plot.

So, use a slider. Learn how to put controls on a GUI here: http://blogs.mathworks.com/videos/category/gui-or-guide/
