How can i detect green chili apart from green leaves?

I have to detect green chilies and have to seprate from leaves, i am facing difficulties because both have similar color.

Maybe try Segnet.

Very doubtful. Your leaves also have edges, right? What makes you think it will find only the edges of the chilis and not of the leaves?
