Image Acquisition Toolbox crashes when using a Point Grey Grasshopper3

Hi,

I am trying to use the Image Acquisition Toolbox (MATLAB 2013b) to access data from a Point Grey Grasshopper3 (USB 3.0 camera) using the point grey adaptor. I can store the camera as a video input and access many camera properties without any trouble. However when I actually try to capture frames or view the stream, I get an access violation and MATLAB crashes. For example:

obj = videoinput('pointgrey',1,'F7_Mono8_1024x1024_Mode1');
src = getselectedsource(obj);
preview(obj);  %Crashes here

I have no trouble accessing the camera using the DirectShow Dlls through the winvideo adaptor, however I don't have access to a lot of camera functionality in this mode. Any ideas as to why the camera can be accessed but no frames can be captured? I can post the crash info if needed. Thanks!

Pointgrey USB3 cameras are supported release R2014a onwards.
