Can MATLAB be run on Azure from a Mac?

The documentation (https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/matlab_env/run-matlab-from-azure-marketplace.html) says that you need to the use the Remote Desktop Client for Windows, and so far as I can tell this is not available for macs.
If so, how does this work?

Microsoft provides "Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac" and it will be OK.
