Hi Thomas, If I may a bit generalize your question then may be the answer is YES. I have used 2 firewire Basler 311fc cameras simultaneously. And I see no technical reason why one can not use 2 USB 3.0 cameras simultaneously. No extra software should be needed other than your existing matlab toolboxes. You will need to write code for parallel capturing of the cameras and synchronization etc. Hope this answers your question.
