Hello, I'm now using simscpae blocks like the picture below. The thing I'm confusing is that if I connct a mass block as a resistance at the red circle part. The output force of the double acting hydraulic cylinder will show up after a longer time than not to connect the mass block and the force response will drop staightly. Can anyone tell me is there anything wrong?

Based on the information you provided, it seems like you are experiencing a delay in the response of your double-acting hydraulic cylinder when you add a mass block as a resistance.
One possible explanation for this behavior is that the mass block introduces an additional load on the hydraulic system, which increases the time it takes for the cylinder to generate the required force to move the load. This effect is more pronounced if the load is heavy or if the hydraulic system is underpowered.
Another possible explanation is that the addition of the mass block changes the dynamics of the system, which can lead to a delayed or damped response. This effect is more pronounced if the mass block is large or if the hydraulic system is not optimized for the added load.
To diagnose the problem, you can try the following steps:
  1. Check the specifications of your hydraulic system and the load you are trying to move. Make sure that the system is capable of generating the required force and that the load is within the rated capacity of the system.
  2. Check the parameters of your Simulink model and make sure that they are consistent with the specifications of your hydraulic system and load. You may need to adjust the parameters of your model to match the real-world conditions.
  3. Experiment with different values for the mass block and observe the response of the hydraulic system. You can try increasing or decreasing the mass block to see how it affects the response time and force output of the system.
  4. Consider adding a feedback control loop to your system to improve its performance. A feedback control loop can help compensate for changes in the system dynamics and improve the accuracy and responsiveness of the hydraulic system.
