What type of dead time compensation algorithm you use is entirely up to you, and you will need to implement it in your feedback controller. Here is a nice summary article to get started: https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1755-1315/358/4/042049/pdf#:~:text=The%20dead%2Dtime%20compensation%20method,polarity%20and%20the%20same%20magnitude.

Dead time compensation on a single phase inverter circuit can be achieved by using a pulse width modulation (PWM) controller that adds a predetermined dead time to each pulse to avoid overlap of the upper and lower switches. This can be done by adjusting the PWM duty cycle to turn on and off the switches at specified intervals to prevent short circuits and minimize distortion in the output waveform. Some methods for implementing dead time compensation in a single phase inverter circuit include microcontroller-based PWM generation, hardware dead time insertion using a gate driver IC, and software-based dead time compensation using a lookup table or algorithmic approaches.
