How to place sound files in to cell array and play them in Matlab

Hi,

I have a mat file that has sound files in the cell array as in the example attched bellow. I am splitting single sounds and modify them as in in the simple code attached below. I would like to ask how can I place modified sounds ( sound1, 2,3and 4) back in to the cell array in a certain order ? For example, 1,3,2,4? Is there is a way to play sounds in Matlab from Matfile or cell array without converting them in to the wav. format?
