- Polyspace Web Metrics is only backward compatible. If you attempt to upload results from a newer version of Polyspace into an older version of Polyspace Web Metrics, you may encounter this error. For example, a Polyspace Web Metrics R2017b repository can only manage results from Polyspace R2017b and earlier. Uploading results from R2019b to this older version will result in an "Unexpected Error."
Why am I getting an unexpected error after uploading Polyspace results to Polyspace Metrics?

Setup:
I have Polyspace R2020b. After uploading the bugfinder polyspace results into polyspace metrics...we are getting the following issue in metrics server.
While coming to Codeprover, my results are uploading successfully and able to view in metrics sever also fine.
I don't understand the error with bugfinder results, how do I fix this so that I can get proper result in metrics?

Hi Mohammad,
I see you are facing issue with "Unexpected Error (while populating database)" after uploading Polyspace results to Polyspace Metrics Server. There are several potential reasons for this issue you encountered.
One of the reason could be version compatability.
To resolve this, ensure that the version of Polyspace Web Metrics matches or exceeds the version of the Polyspace tool used to generate the results. If you are using a newer version of Polyspace, consider upgrading the Polyspace Web Metrics to the same version or later.
Hope this helps.
