For MATLAB Copilot and Simulink Copilot
To use MATLAB Copilot or Simulink Copilot, ensure that you have a valid license for the product and that the product is installed.
- To check if you have a license, navigate to the License Center and click on your license for MATLAB to see if MATLAB Copilot or Simulink Copilot are included on your license.
- You can run the “ver” command in MATLAB to verify the product is installed.
In order to send requests to MathWorks Copilot Services (MathWorks Cloud), you will also need to sign in to your MathWorks Account using the sign in button in the top right corner of MATLAB.
For MATLAB Copilot and Simulink Copilot before R2026bTo use MATLAB Copilot or Simulink Copilot, your MathWorks account needs to be linked to a MATLAB Copilot or Simulink Copilot license. To check if you are linked to a Copilot license, navigate to the License Center and verify that one of your licenses is labeled Copilot. If you do have a license labeled Copilot, you do not need to download or install anything; however, you will need to sign in to your MathWorks Account using the sign in button in the top right corner of MATLAB. Once you have signed in, the MATLAB Copilot window will be displayed. If you do not see a MATLAB Copilot license listed under the account you are signed in as, please ensure you are signed in with the correct MathWorks Account. If you have verified you are signed into the correct account in the License Center and do not see MATLAB Copilot listed, please contact MathWorks Support.
