3d curvature slope detection and smoothing the steep slopes

We are drawing a 3d object in MATLAB .But we need to be getting rid of overhangs greater than 60 (ie. maximum positive slope) in that 3d object{maximum negative slope concept also applies}.
We need to modify the rendered frame in such a way that there are no sharp bends, that 3D printer can not print and also there should be no necessity of support. Does anyone have idea and experience 'detection of 3d region curvature slope'
we are having trauma, trying to solve: like you have a volleyball to 3d print, then to make 3d printer able to print, we have to make spherical curvature minimize n get nearer towards cubical it's not exactly which we have to solve, but just gives the hint of nature of problem we have to solve

I do not understand the meaning of the picture. Which "black border of slope"? What do we see and is the picture important to understand the question? I guess that you have 3D data in any format and you want to smooth them. Then a description of this format is more important than the picture.
