Running Matlab R2013B on SuSe Linux. Simulink Dialog boxes (block parameters, Mask dialog, etc.) appear in tiny and almost unreadable font. It looks like Arial 8 point font is used. Is there a way to change it?
[Edit] Here is an example:

[Edit] Tested with Matlab 2015b. Dialog Font is slightly larger, which is an improvement, but still too small for my preference. I can't find any way to configure it.

Open a new model in Simulink. Navigate to File > Simulink Preferences. This will open up a new dialog box. In the left hand side, the second option under 'Simulink Preferences' is 'Font Defaults for New Models'. You should be able to make changes here as needed. Just a word of caution, I am using windows. Hopefully this will also work in linux.

I have the same question with R2017b-trial version! Words are so tiny to see.
When I open the 'Simulink Preferences', I can only see three item under it on the left-hand side. But there is no option to adjust the dialog font size.
Please save my eyes if you can!
Thank you for any help you can provide!

I realize this is an old thread, but I have the same stated question, for different reasons. The default font in dialogue boxes is ambiguous for coding and this has bitten me (probably Arial). It is problematic when names involve: capital eye, lower el, Capital oh, number zero -- the usual suspects.
This is a problem when when inspecting a legacy model and trying to determine signal and parameter names. For instance, when right-clicking a signal line, and choosing "signal heirarchy." Just today had an issue with "el" and "eye." My painful workaround has been to select a parameter name in the list, ctrl+c, then paste into a text editor (with Aptos the font) to see what I'm dealing with.
Is there a way to change the font name for Simulink dialogue boxes entirely (not just size)? Personal preference is Aptos monospace, since it is is the most distinct for the aforementioned characters and others. Consolas would be a second option, though not as disambiguated in my opinion.
For reference, due to company standardization, I am constrained to run 2017b so solutions for that version would be most welcome. (I can run 2024b but our system model has compatibility issues w/ 2024, so any solutions dependent on that version are less helpful)
