displaying images as a small icons ( low resolution )

Hello sir..

Can we display images as a small icons?? like with low resolutions? please help me.. i am stucked in that..Thanks in advance!!

Hi, Rehana

we can resize an image with imresize from image processing toolbox

Eq:

I = imread('cameraman.tif');
imshow(imresize(I,0.25));

No need to call imresize(). Just set up your axes to be small in the first place and call imshow(). It will automatically scale down your image to fit in the tiny axes that you have on your figure.
