There is no way to find RGB color space from RGB image because RGB image has already in RGB color space.

Usually, you cannot. If the file is JPEG or TIF then you might be able to read EXIF information from the file and it might indicate the color space. http://www.mathworks.com/help/techdoc/ref/exifread.html
