Error using mex (line 206) Unable to complete successfully.

Hello guys,

i am trying to run a script, but i get the following error:

Precompiling functions in /usr/local/etherlab/rtw/blocks

world_time.c:16: fatal error: simstruc.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.

      mex: compile of ' "world_time.c"' failed.

Error using mex (line 206)
Unable to complete successfully.

Error in setup (line 9)
mex world_time.c

Error in run (line 57)
          evalin('caller', [s ';']);

Error in setup_etherlab (line 11)
run blocks/setup.m

does anyone know what i can do? I am using Matlab R2012a 32bit on a 12.04 Xubuntu 32 bit machine.

I have installed all the required compilers, but somehow it still doesn't work.

except you will need the equivalent, not a .bat file.

Thank you for your answer! I already tried to do that. In my matlab /bin folder there is a mexopts.sh which i open with leafpad, but there sadly is no line of code that says: " set INCLUDE= ... " i think the file in linux is different from the windows mexopts.bat ..
